Work Experience

Director of own consulting company (1986 - present). Completed more than 190 environmental and pollution studies throughout Australia & Asia-Pacific. Team member, many projects for World Bank and other international agencies, including development of National Environmental Strategies for Fiji and Mauritius, and regional pollution management programs for 12 South Pacific island nations. Expert witness in a number of major environmental court cases. Principal scientist, all 3 editions of Australia's National Environmental Assessment Guidelines for Dredging.

Scientific Writing

Principal author and/or editor of more than 30 published manuals, reports and multi-volume environmental impact studies, plus various scientific articles. Author, editor or contributor to more than 280 unpublished scientific reports.
